In 1997, Thomas So (managing director) asked Brian Reddy to establish a U.S. corporation to front-end Wai Tat Printed Circuit Board Ltd. Hong Kong/Shenzhen, China.
Exorbitant pricing resulted in very little business.
Bill Monach, veteran PCB salesman contacted Thomas who instructed Brian to hire him.
As head sales rep., Bill demanded a price matrix far below the original pricing. Competitive pricing resulted in $3 mil worth of business over the next few years.
BriSo secured a large contract with Delco Electronics and within a week Bill demanded that Wai Tat dissolve BriSo and deal directly or he would cancel all contracts with Wai Tat. Within a week, it was done.
Bill shut down Monach Associates and started CIR-Q-TEK Sales under his wife's name.
BriSo's attorney told Brian, that even though Bill was violating his contract, a court judgment would do nothing to change the situation. Bill took Brian's ~$2.4 mil commission and continues in the PCB industry today.
